Recently, the Ministry of Education issued a circular on the development of the National Student Status Information Management System for primary and secondary school students until the end of September 2013(circular on the development of the National Student Status Information Management System for primary and secondary school students until the end of September 2013) . The circular showed that 28 out of 32 provinces had basically completed the installation of the national system, of which Henan and Guangdong were praised for their smooth operation and maintenance. Because of software, hardware and network, the operation of the system in Hebei, Heilongjiang, Ningxia, Chongqing and other four provinces (cities) is unstable or hidden trouble. Shanghai, Jiangxi, Xinjiang and other three provinces are installing the system, Shandong still does not have the installation conditions, is still in preparation. The circular pointed out that the other 31 provinces have basically completed the task of data collection or supplementary recording, with the exception of Xinjiang, which has not yet deployed the work of data collection on student information. 

The data of all or part of students in 16 provinces, such as Guizhou, have entered the national system database, and the storage rate of 7 provinces exceeds 90% . The provinces that have been approved by the Ministry of Education to integrate with the national system are carrying out the integration of their own student roll system with the national system. The circular requested Shandong and Shanghai to speed up the preparatory work for the installation and complete the deployment of the national system and the docking environment as soon as possible. Xinjiang should organize and arrange the work of data collection. The data collection and the supplementary recording progress is slow, this school year the new student data has not collected the province to speed up the progress. The provinces where the data collection and supplementary recording have been basically completed should further increase the warehousing rate. 

We should pay attention to the comprehensiveness, integrality and accuracy of the data, improve the quality of the data and reduce the number of problem students. The provinces that have agreed to integrate with the national system should speed up their work to ensure that they complete the transformation of their self-built systems by the end of this year and realize real-time data exchange with the national system. All localities should attach great importance to the application of the system after installation, carry out the system application training in an all-round way, realize the deep integration of student status management and system application, and establish a long-term mechanism of system application and operation maintenance.
