  Reporter:Luo Kunli, professor and doctoral supervisor of Institute of Geographic Sciences and Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 1997 to 1999, he was a senior visiting scholar at the Cambrian Institute of Colorado at the University of Colorado. He was a visiting scholar at the U.S. Geological Survey in 2004.Mainly engaged in stratigraphic paleontology, coalfield geology, geological environment and health and other interdisciplinary research. He has published more than 60 SCI papers in international authoritative journals as the first and corresponding author. He has presided over and completed more than 10 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, "973 Plan" and "863 Plan". In 1996, he was selected as one of the first group of top professional and technical talents of The Ministry of Coal Industry, and in 1997, he was selected as one of the first group of cross-century academic leaders of the Ministry of Coal Industry. In 1997, he won the Special allowance of the State Council, and in 2015, he was awarded the Top ten Outstanding Contribution Award of China selenium Industry by China Selenium Enrichment Alliance. He is a member of Cambrian working Group of National Stratigraphic Commission, a member of Coal Comprehensive Utilization Professional Committee, and the director of China Selenium-Rich Union Expert Committee.


  Brief introduction of the report: briefly introduce the theory, methods and scientific problems of deep time trace element selenium enrichment and environmental health. To explore the distribution and enrichment rule of selenium and other trace elements in geological period and their original differences, map to the terrestrial surface system, and the relationship with the spatial differentiation of selenium and other elements in the superorganism environment, so as to provide new research methods and ideas for the study of the distribution and enrichment rule and its mechanism in the superorganism environment. Introduction on the enrichment of trace element selenium, deep and environmental health of basic research in explore and discover new selenium-rich area, and the application of natural selenium-rich mineral water source as a result, the longevity area and researching in China area, kaschin-beck ward human health, such as the typical regional geological characteristics of the universal and the application of the research and combination of the trace elements.
