To further clarify the volcanic eruption sequence and age of the Yingcheng and Huoshiling Formations in the Songliao Basin, and to discover the Triassic volcanic-sedimentary strata for the first time in the basement, correcting the previous belief that the basin has been in the uplift from the end of the Permian to the Early Jurassic. The uplift and denudation state without the misunderstanding of the Triassic provides new exploration targets for deep volcanic rock oil and gas exploration in the Songliao Basin. The results promote the research team to continue to maintain a "leading" position in the field of volcanic rock oil and gas reservoir research. The results were published in the first-class international geoscience journals Earth-Science Reviews, AAPG Bulletin and the comprehensive journal Science Bulletin, and were widely cited.
