Over the years, relevant volcanic rock oil and gas reservoir theories have been widely used in the practice of oil and gas exploration in the Songliao Basin, with good results. In 2015-2019, the research team expanded the research area to the Bohai Sea (Liaohe Oilfield, CNOOC Tianjin), East China Sea (CNOOC Shanghai), and South China Sea (CNOOC Zhanjiang); among them, Zhang Yan, Wang Pujun, Gao Youfeng and Tang Huafeng shared the " The project of “Prediction of Middle-Deep High-quality Reservoirs in Bozhong 19/25 Tectonic Area” contributed to the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award “Theoretical Techniques and Major Discoveries of Deep Large-scale Monolithic Condensate Gas Field Exploration in Bohai Bay Basin”.
